Obituary for Barbara Ann Campbell (Benham)
Barbara Ann (Benham) Campbell, 88, Bloomington, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at Garden Villa Health Care.
Barbara was born April 19, 1931 In Bloomington, Indiana, the daughter of Harold and Elsie (Hudson) Benham.
Barb worked keeping the books for the family business, E. E. Campbell Excavating. She cherished time with family and friends, the communicator of the family she kept in touch with all, recognizing birthdays and life events with cards, calls and well wishes. Barb enjoyed traveling with friends, collecting shoes and purses throughout their adventures.
Barb and Earl shared 65 wonderful years of marriage. They took several trips to the North Carolina Shore, Mississippi and Tennessee and once traveled across the country on motorcycle with friends. Barbara was an honest and humble woman, a loving, devoted and trusted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
Survivors include her children, Tim Campbell (Brenda), Andrew Campbell (Annie) and Julie Stines (Dan); grandchildren, Brandi, Courtney, Kindra, Levi and Spencer; Great Grandchildren, many; nieces and nephews, many; brother, Tom Benham (Susie) of Bloomington, Indiana; sisters, Julia Reeves of Solsberry, Indiana and Joyce Owen of Greenwood, Indiana.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl E. Campbell; brother, James Benham and sister, Jeraldine Benham.
Visitation will be on Saturday, November 2, 2019 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard 3000 E. Third St. Bloomington, Indiana. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. at The Funeral Chapel will Rev. Michael Douglas officiating. Burial will follow at Solsberry Cemetery.
