Obituary for Robert Agranoff

Robert Agranoff, 83, died November 14, 2019. Born in Minneapolis, he retired as Professor Emeritus of Public Administration at the IU O’Neill school of Public and Environmental Affairs in 2001.
An internationally recognized authority on collaborative management in the public sector, his research spanned many countries including Ukraine and Spain. An avid fan of Pittsburgh sports, his grandchildren, and family. Locally recognized for his Spanish Paella.
He is survived by his wife Susan M. Klein, his children, Karen Grimley(Brian), David Agranoff(Cari Beltane), Jonathan Shuster(Beth Sirull), and David Shuster(Kera Rennert) and 5 grandchildren, Zevan, Lily, Zada, Ayala, and Zeke. He is also survived by his brother, Michael Agranoff(Janet), sisters in law, Marge Agranoff, Lola Lynch, and Peggy Ruzek, as well as several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his late wife, Zola, brother Edwin, and son Daniel Shuster.
In accordance with Jewish custom the funeral will take place at Congregation Beth Shalom, Sunday November 17 at 2:00 p.m. followed by a graveside service at Valhalla Memory Gardens. Shiva will be at Congregation Beth Shalom on Sunday November 17, 7:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers please donate to the IU O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs Robert Agranoff PH.D.
