Obituary for Wayne E. "Kidd" Young

Wayne E. “Kidd” Young, 62, of Bloomington passed away Saturday, July 23, 1949 at his residence. Born, July 21, 2011 in Monroe County he was the son of Ralph Young and Marjorie Anne (Lindley) Sears. Wayne was a master swimming pool installer for Grimes Pools and Spas for over 30 years. He enjoyed listening to country music and playing his guitar and mandolin. He was also a motorcycle enthusiast. Survivors include his father, Ralph Young, his step-mother, Cora E. Young, his sister, Shirley Gibson (Ron), one niece, two nephews and his good friend, Diane Shepherd. Wayne was preceded in death by his mother, Marjorie Anne Sears. The family will receive friends 4-8pm Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard, 3000 E. Third St. Bloomington, IN 47401. There will be no services. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that contributions be made to The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard.
