Obituary for Suzanne K. Irizarry

Suzanne K. Irizarry, 43, of Bloomington, passed away on Friday September 7, 2012 at IU Health Hospice House with her family by her side. Suzanne was born on January 8, 1969 in Boston, MA, daughter of Kenneth Casey and Judy Cibel. She was a homemaker and stay at home mom and had previously worked at Director of Human Resources at the Miami Correctional Facility in Bunker Hill, IN. She attended Sherwood Oaks Christian Church. Suzanne is survived by her husband George Irizarry, daughter Hannah Wilkison, at home, her father Kenneth of Boston, MA and mother Judy of Peru, IN, two brothers, Rob Cibel of Marion, IN and James Cibel of Florida, sister Tammy Trueblood of Tennessee, two sisters-in-law Eleanor Menges (Heimo) of Kingston, NY and Zoraida Leandro (Jose) of Silver Springs, MD, and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 4-8 pm on Tuesday September 11, 2012 at The Funeral Chapel. Services for Suzanne will be Wednesday September 12, 2012 at 11:00 am at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard, 3000 E. Third St., Bloomington. Burial will follow the service at Valhalla Memory Gardens. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or IU Health Hospice House.
