Obituary for
Randy Jack Evans
Randy Jack Evans, 64, of Ellettsville, passed away on Tuesday November 8, 2016 at the IU Health Hospice House. Randy was born August 26, 1952 in Bloomington and was the son of Jack and Elsie (Marlin) Evans.
Randy was a Heavy Equipment Operator for R.H. Marlin and was a member of the Operators Union Local 841. He loved collecting hats and playing softball and later coaching his children.
Survivors include his father Jack Evans of Bloomington, 5 children; Jason Allen Fox of Bloomington, Randy Joe Evans (Taryn Duke) of Bloomington, Duston Jack Evans (Anastasia Brockman) of Bloomington, Miranda Evans of Unionville and Moriah Evans of Ellettsville, 2 sisters, Elaine Prince (Jack) of Cloverdale, and Peggy Dick (Alan) of Bloomington and brother Bradley Scott Evans of Bloomington, brother-in-law Dale Conard of Bloomington, and 9 grandchildren, Jessica Fox, Hannah Fox, Zane Evans, Alexis Evans, Jasmine Evans, Adalyn Courter, Michael Wood, Joselyn Malone and Aaron Blair.
Randy was preceded in death by his mother Elsie Evans, grandson Braydn Fox and sister Connie Conard.
Visitation for Randy will be 4-8 pm Friday November 11, 2016 at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard 3000 E. Third St. Bloomington.
Funeral Services will be 2:30 pm Saturday November 12, 2016 at The Funeral Chapel with Rev. Frank Helton officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in Randy’s memory may be given to the IU Health Hospice House.
