William H. "Bill" Harden
William "Bill" Harden, 79, of Bloomington passed away Thursday, March 9, 2017 at IU Health Bloomington Hospital.
Born, September 21, 1937 in Brown County, he was the son of the late Raymond and Gladys (Pedro) Harden.
Bill was an Office Manager for Ralph Rogers Group for 25 years, and he was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local #841.
He was a longtime member of the Apostolic Bible Church in Bloomington.
Bill was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Family members include his wife of 60 years, Jerlene (Deckard) Harden of Bloomington, son, Rick Harden (Rhonda) of Bedford, daughter, Lisa Hunt (Steve) of Bloomington, grandchildren, Chantel Adcock, Jeffery Harden (Lissette), Hillary Hunt, and Steven Hunt, great-grandchildren, Scott, Nick, and Sebastian Harden, sister, Carol Becraft, and brothers, Kenneth Harden (Ruth), Alva Dean Harden (Dottie), Larry Harden (Susan), and Steve Harden, special family friend, Lolita Smith, and several nieces and nephews and his caretaker, Nicokola Thomas.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Barbara Joan Hobbs, Rachel Jane Fox, and Jerri Harden.
Visitation will be 11am-1pm Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at the Apostolic Bible Church, 3291 S. Old Walnut St. Pike, Bloomington, IN 47401.
Funeral services will be 1:00pm Wednesday at the church with Pastor Duane Coffman officiating. Burial will follow at Clover Hill Cemetery in Harrodsburg.
The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard, 3000 E. Third St. in Bloomington is handling arrangements.
