Obituary for Rose Marie Burton (Abram)

Rose Marie Burton, 87, of Bloomington, passed away Saturday, April 22nd, 2017 at Garden Villa.
Born April 3rd, 1930, she was the daughter of Guy and Retha (Hendricks) Abram.
Rose was a life-long member at the Highland Village Church of Christ. She loved to fish, and was a great fisherman all of her life. Rose was a tax preparer for 25 years and she loved interacting with her customers. She was a very funny lady who could always find humor in any situation, and she was loved by and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Rose is survived by her daughter, Tina Pierce (husband Dennie) of Bloomington; two granddaughters, Kara Wright (husband Steve) of Ellettsville, and Brandy Spiering (husband Mike) of Bloomington; her great-grandchildren, Joshua and Jenna Wright, and Ryan, Ava, and Adam Spiering; and two sisters, Ruth Maners and Martha Easterday.
Rose was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Hubert Burton, and by several brothers and sisters.
Visitation for Rose will be held Monday, April 24th, 2017 from 4-8 pm at The Funeral Chapel of Powell & Deckard, 3000 E. Third St., in Bloomington.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 25th, 2017 at 11am at The Funeral Chapel with an hour of calling prior to the service. Burial will follow at Valhalla Memory Gardens in Bloomington
