Jamie Sue Rood, 41 of Bloomington passed away on Thursday April 20, 2017 at her residence. Jamie was born March 17, 1976 in Bloomington and was the daughter of Sam Easterday and Sandy Elliott.
Jamie loved her kids and loved doing crafts.
Survivors include her mother Sandy of Bloomington, father Sam of Bloomington, 3 children; MarQuel Carter, Jaarvus Smith and Mimi Hopkins all of Bloomington and step son Brady Jones of Texas. She is also survived by her grandmother Deanie Elliott, brother Gregie Rood, sister Christie Easterday, 2 aunts Cel Boltinghouse and Karen Bastin and uncle Fredie Elliott all of Bloomington along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather Fred Elliott and uncle Lonnie Elliott.
Graveside services will be 1:30 pm Wednesday April 26, 2017 at White Oak Cemetery with Pastor Michael Douglas officiating.
Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm Wednesday at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard 3000 E. Third St. Bloomington.
In lieu of flowers donations may be given to The Funeral Chapel.
