Obituary for
Norma Juanita Headley
Norma Juanita (Myers) Headley, age 95, passed away April 28, 2017 at Autumn Hills.
She was born October 4, 1921 in Clay Township, Owen County to Charles Edward Myers and Grace Eldora (Burks) Myers.
Norma graduated from Ellettsville High School and Indiana Business College and then pursued a career at Johnson’s Creamery and later, Bank One, both in Bloomington, Indiana. She and her husband, Leon Headley, now deceased, were longtime members of North Central Church of Christ.
In addition to her husband Leon, Norma was predeceased by parents Charlie and Grace Myers, and her brother and sister-in-law Jack and Joan Myers. She is survived by son Larry Headley (Pam) of Clearwater, FL, daughters Mary Beth Usinowicz (Walter) of Cave Creek, AZ and Maria McKinley (Lee) of Bloomington, IN and brother-in-law Ivan Headley of Bloomington, IN. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Catherine Headley, Michael Headley, Ryan McKinley, Susan McKinley, and Adam McKinley and two great- grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at 11:00 AM at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard, 3000 E Third Street, Bloomington, Indiana 47401. Visitation is offered Tuesday evening, May 2, 2017, from 5:30 PM until 7:30 PM and May 3, 2017, beginning at 10:00 AM, one hour prior to services. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
