Jacquelyn M. "Jackie" Jackson, 76, of Ellettsville, passed away on Monday May 29, 2017 at the IU Health Hospice House. Jackie was born January 28, 1941 in Muncie, Indiana and was the daughter of the late Ralph W. and Emma Rosemary (Beal) Yarger.
Jackie worked in the Banking industry for many years in the different towns she lived. She was a member of Sherwood Oaks Christian Church, Women of the Moose and enjoyed stamping, card making and being around people.
Jackie is survived by her husband of 57 years, David L. Jackson of Ellettsville, 2 sons, Tim Jackson (Chris Taylor) of Bloomington, Dennis Jackson (Jill) of Windsor, Canada, 3 grandchildren, Ryan Jackson, Audrey Jackson and Claire Jackson, 3 brothers Bill Yarger (Suzy) of Bloomington, Jerry Yarger of Cincinnati, OH, Rick Yarger (Melody) of Marion, IN and one sister, Bonnie Dodd (Roy) of Wheatland, MO, along with several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation for Jackie will be Thursday June 1, 2017 from 4-8 pm at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard 3000 E. Third St. Bloomington.
Graveside services will be 1:00 pm Saturday June 3, 2017 at the Garden of Memory Cemetery in Muncie with Rev. Rodney Eiler officiating.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Jackie's memory to the IU Health Hospice House.
