Phyllis "Joan" Weddle, age 87, of Bloomington, Indiana passed away Thursday, August 3, 2017 at Garden Villa in Bloomington. She was born on January 23, 1930 to Marshall E. and Flora E. (Bales) Campbell in Martinsville, Indiana.
Joan is survived by her husband, Eugene W. Weddle, children, Linda J. Deckard (Steve) and Peggy J. Hoffman, grandchildren, Stacie L. Torline (Mark), Jodie L. Latiolais (Scott) all of Bloomington, Indiana, Brian K. Hoffman (Tae) of Bedford, Indiana, and Kyle J. Hoffman (Casey) of Grand Forks, North Dakota, great-grandchildren, Jenna M. Torline, Abigail J. Latiolais, both of Bloomington, Indiana, and Riley K. Hoffman of Bedford, Indiana, and brother, Stephen M. Campbell of Bloomington, Indiana.
Joan is preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Virginia D. Payne and Edith L. VanDeventer, brother, Marshall L. Campbell, son-in-law, P. Kent Hoffman, and great-grandson, Jensen R. Hoffman.
A graveside service will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at Payne Cemetery in Bloomington, Indiana. Donnie Campbell will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association at P.O. Box 96011, Washington, D.C. 20090-6011.
