We will miss you.

What can I even say. You came into my life when your amazing granddaughter married my dad. And here I was thrown into this new family, but you immediately welcomed me with open arms. Not once did I feel like I wasn't your granddaughter. It's like you've been there my whole life and I hardly remember a time you weren't. Thank you so much for loving me with everything in you. For teaching me about your childhood and what it was like growing up. Thank you for letting me write a paper about you in middle school allowing me to learn so much about you. Anyone who was lucky enough to know you will know a bright soul has left this world and moved on to the next. It will be so hard to not have you around anymore but knowing you are no longer in pain helps. I love you and we will all miss you so much.
