Condolence: I first met George in 1969 at Westinghouse. He asked and I consented to serve on the fire brigade. From then until now is far too many memories to post here.
He was one of the most respected and honorable men I have ever had the pleasure to work with and know, and we were Masonic brothers.

Condolence: George was such a kind, loving, wonderful human being that was such a joy to be around. We are grateful that we were able to share a meal with George and his family at a fundraiser a few months ago. We are sending healing thoughts and love to all of the family. He is irreplaceable and we will miss him.

Condolence: What a fine, fine man and gentleman. I had the sheer pleasure of getting to know George when we both served as Officers of the Board of the Bloomington Volunteer Action Center (BVAC), which is now the Bloomington Volunteer Network. Darrell Ann Stone served as Chair, I was Vice-Chair, the late Ramona Tolen was Secretary and George was Treasurer. We had such fun, cordial, and, interesting meetings. And, because of knowing George from those years, we kept in contact and I would see him at the Courthouse when he was attending the Assessor's Appeals Board meetings. This was a man who truly gave back to his community, yet, never, ever, tooted his own horn. Frankly, it was an honor to serve with him and I just cannot say enough about his wonderfulness. In Sympathy, Evelyn Powers, Bloomington, IN
