Memories of an All-Star

Alphonso Manns and Dollie Manns are so sorry to hear about the untimely passing of Manny. He is the kindest man that a person could meet. We knew him when our kids ran track at Bloomington High School North. He was his daughter, Jennifer, greatest cheerleader and our heart broke along with his and Marsha when our little Jennifer died in the Value Jet Airplane Crash. Our daughter Shawn had a vision of Jennifer and she said, "tell my dad that I am okay." He never received that message, but now he can see that she is okay for himself. Because of Manny and Marsha I adopted the Bibilical message, "Do nothing out of vain contempt, but consider others as being better than yourself. You should treat others the same way that they would be treated by Christ Jesus." That is the life he lived and that is the life we try to live. The last time I saw Manny he helped me chose a stove and a refrigerator that was in our budget. We are going to miss him and I pray that he is looking down on us with God and His Angels. May the soul God's faithful departed rest in peace. Manny and Marsha, we love you. Love
