Condolence From: Evelyn Powers
Condolence: My heart is broken, but, so grateful I was able to visit with her on Thursday, December 21. For 14 years, I called her the "Big Chicken." Why? When she was by herself in the Recorder's office one day over the lunch hour due to two of her girls being out sick, I came out of my room and said, "All the little chickens have flown the coop!" She said, "Yup." Then I said, "But, the Big Chicken is here!" She laughed, so, the name stuck. Pat was one of the very few people I could talk to and just be myself. She'd listen, intently, and, if I was being hard on someone, or, being judgmental, or, being harsh, she would get on me, big time. But, for the most part over these many, many years, my proudest achievement was that I could make her laugh, sometimes until she cried. She was a wonderful, beautiful, gracious and generous person and I will miss her terribly. Cheri and Brett, Vanessa and Kadee, and little Boyd, know your Mama and Grandma was dearly loved and respected by scores of people from all walks of life. Love you, Pat, and, God speed. Condolence: Pat was such a dear sweet person. Have known her a long time...she was in my Mom & Dad's Class of '46 from BHS. My Mother's brother married into the Haley's to Bea. So I've known the Haley's for awhile. She was the best....always helpful, genuine, beautiful and just a GOOD person. She will be missed by many. God Bless her!

Condolence: Our thoughts and prayers are with your family at this loss. She was a one of kind. Pat always had a smile. She was the most dedicated person that I know. I enjoyed being a fellow club member(Walk A Lot). Pat was the face of the Monroe Co Fair. She loved it and would do whatever was needed done. Her family was her love and she was very proud of them all. She will be missed. The Lord be with you all.
