Obituary for Stacey Grant Bostic

Stacey Grant Bostic, 53, of Bloomington, IN formerly of Columbus, IN, passed away Sunday, December 31 of heart failure.
He was preceded in death by his father Leland Thomas Bostic of Columbus, IN.
For 20 plus years he excelled in his work as a Maintenance Manager, especially when given the opportunity to mentor and teach. Through the skillful use of his hands and words, he came known as “Mr. Fix it”. His mantra was, “If I can’t fix it, then you need a new one”.
He loved the game of pool and served as the league operator for the Amateur Pool Association for Monroe and Bartholomew counties.
Time spent outdoors and with his family were what he treasured most.
He is survived by his wife and “soul mate” Sherry; daughter Ashleigh “Ash” (Matt) Folker, daughter and “Daddy’s Girl” Chelcey Bostic, son David “Bubby” Bostic; grandchildren John and Benjamin Folker; mother Linda Bostic; brothers Thomas (Laura) Bostic and Richard Bostic; nieces and nephews: Katie (Jon), J.D., Kyle (Stefany), Jacob, Jake, Hunter, Maddie, Braden, Sydney; great nieces Selana, Mya, and Everly; his furry friend Mac “Smackhead”; and many other loving family members.
Funeral services will be held at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard 3000 E. Third St. Bloomington, IN on Saturday, January 6, 2018. Visitation will be held from 11:00 – 2:00 PM. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be given to The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard to help with funeral expenses.
