The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Janice Partenheimer can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolences

Condolence From: Chere Howard
Condolence: I thoroughly enjoyed working with JanicePartenheimer. She was upbeat and our customers appreciated her ability to listen and care for them. I will miss Janice with her keen sense of humor and sparkle.

And Janice had quite a sense of history; she shared many stories of earlier days in Bloomington. She was quite involved with Monroe County Historical Society. Each year she would be found working the Jewelry Department at the June Sale...I could not not miss a year buying a special treasure from Janice.

I also remember how much she cared for her cozy home surrounded by lovely flowers and accented inside with her quilts or sewing projects.

Janice was quite a lady and I will miss her.

Condolence From: Evelyn Powers
Condolence: Though Janice and I were not friends, per se, I would see her once a year at what is now the Monroe County History Center Garage sale. (Formerly, the Monroe County Historical Society had a "live" auction at The Old Library with Bruce and/or Brett Haley serving as Auctioneers.) So, whether I saw Janice at The Old Library or at Cook Pharmica, she was always nice, friendly, helpful, and, informative. She seemed to love history and our History Center and when I visited with her this past June, she was sitting next to Mrs. Cook, helping out in the jewelry section. I know she will be sorely missed by all her friends and colleagues, especially at the History Center. In sympathy, Evelyn Powers, Bloomington, Indiana
