Harold "Dean" Decker, age 82, of Martinsville, Indiana passed away at IU Health Bloomington Hospital on Thursday, January 18, 2018. Dean was born in Seymour, Indiana on September 13, 1935 to Harold Oscar and Mildred (Nuss) Decker.
Dean received a Bachelor's Degree in accounting from Indiana University, and was an accountant for Bloomingfoods for many years. Dean enjoyed golf and shooting guns, especially shooting skeet. He was an avid reader and was a hardcore IU basketball fan, especially during the days of Coach Bob Knight.
Dean is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth "Betsy" Decker, his sons, David (Kara) and Joseph (Kate) Decker, his grandchildren, Scott, Lucas, Sara, Jakob, and Daniel Decker, his siblings, Delores Decker-Sylvester, Diane Shipley, and Duane Decker.
Dean is preceded in death by his daughter, Deanna Lynn Decker, his parents, and his brother, David Ray Decker.
