Obituary for Irma Lee Borden

Irma Lee Borden, 97, of Camby passed away on Wednesday February 14, 2018 at Worthington Place in Camby. Irma was born October 18, 1920 in Evansville, Indiana and was the daughter of the late George Washington Thacker and Suzannah (Brockman) Thacker.
Irma had worked at RCA and Frisch's Big Boy. She was a member of the Church of God in Unionville, she loved to dance and was a member of the Laughing Squares Square Dance Group. She was a member of the Eagles Lodge and enjoyed bingo, shopping, camping and fishing, cooking for everyone and eating out.
Survivors include her daughter Donna Tiebert (Norman), son-in-law Welton Beliles, brother Raymond Thacker (Dee), 7 grandchildren; Kelly Tucker (Joe), Nancy Fauvergue (Bob), John David Bates (Angel), John Beliles, Paul Bates (Patty), Annette Ziegler (Paul) and Kim Branham (Jason). Also surviving are 11 great grandchildren; Samantha, Jordan, Dara, Jensen, Wesley, Blake, Jonathon, Maggie, Kayla, Jaycee and Amanda and 2 great great grandchildren, Macee and Braelyn.
Irma was preceded in death by her parents, husband, John Borden, daughter, Carolyn Beliles, son, Don Christie, sisters, Geneva Christie, Marie Atwood and Evelyn Thacker and Brothers, Richard, Robert and Ernie Thacker.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am until service time at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard 3000 E. Third St. Bloomington.
Services for Irma will be 1:00 pm Friday February 16, 2018 at The Funeral Chapel. Pastor Ron Adamson will officiate the service and burial will follow at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
