Juanita J. Dwyer, 84, of Bloomington, passed away on Tuesday March 27, 2018 at IU Health Bloomington Hospital. Juanita was born June 4, 1933 in Bloomington to the late Vernon and Lucille (Mishler) Sailor.
Juanita was a 1951 graduate of Bloomington High School and retired from Public Service in 1994 after 30 years of service. She was a lifetime member of Arlington United Methodist Church and loved her family and friends along with IU Basketball and Football.
Survivors include her two sons, Rick (Jody) Dwyer and Randy (Lisa) Dwyer of Bloomington, two granddaughters, Jennifer (Malcolm) Dixon and Julie Dwyer and a great grandson, Michael Dixon. Also surviving are her sisters, Edna McGuire and Peggy Gigli and sister-in-law, Joan Dwyer.
Juanita was preceded in death by her husband Keith Dwyer in 1959, two sisters, Alice Trendelman and Mary Sailor, and two brothers, Clifton Sailor and Paul Sailor.
Funeral services for Juanita will be 10:00 am Saturday March 31, 2018 at Arlington United Methodist Church, 1820 West Arlington Road, Bloomington. Rev. Jim Roach will officiate the service and burial will follow at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Juanita’s memory may be given to the Arlington United Methodist Church.
