Obituary for William "Bill" Mitchell

William "Bill" Mitchell passed away peacefully at home on Friday, March 30, 2018. He was born on October 23, 1930 in Normal, Illinois to Katharine and Russell Mitchell. He grew up in Richmond, IN and graduated from Richmond High School. He also graduated from Purdue University School of Forestry and attended Dartmouth College. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard. He also spent many happy hours on the I.U. Golf course.
Bill is survived by his wife, Norma; daughter, Susan; son, Dane (Jan); and grandchildren, Katie, Laurel, Taylor (Nic) and Ted.
A private family celebration of Bill's life will be held at a later time.
