Obituary for Harry Dee Carson

Harry Dee Carson of Bloomington Indiana passed away on May 30th, 2018. He was
born in Worthington In. to Harry E. and Bernice (DIxon) Carson. Dee Graduated from
Petersburg High School in 1954 and married sweetheart Donna Kay Wyant. He attended
Barber School in Indianapolis and was a master barber for over 20 years. He then worked
as a technician for the IU Assembly hall for 22 years. He was also a retired Stagehand
for the I.A.T.S.E Local #618 and had served 8 years with the Army Reserves.

Harry is survived by his loving wife Donna, sons Rodney Joe (Jayne), William Scott (Dana)
Carson, daughter Kimberly Dee, brother Dr. T.J. Carson (Debbie), grandchildren Daniel,
Megan, Tori, Taylor and Trevor as well as niece and nephew Kit and Tex and many other
family members.

Harry was proceeded in death by his parents. His hobbies were tinkering with his various
tractors, mowers and vehicles. He enjoyed spending time with his pets as well as
feeding all of his deer and spending time with his grandchildren.

Special thanks to the IU Health, Bloomington Fire Dept., Bloomington Police dept. and all of
the people involved with his care. In lieu of flowers he requested that donations be made to the
Riley Hospital for Children IU Health or the Monroe County Animal Shelter.

The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard will be handling Cremation services and a
celebration of his life will be planned for a later date. The love and support of family
and friends has been greatly appreciated.
