Thomas L. "Tom" Mobley
Thomas "Tom" L. Mobley, 83, Bloomington, Indiana passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at his home, surrounded by his family. Tom was born April 25, 1935 in Bloomington, Indiana the son of the late Lester and Mary Ellen (Wilkerson) Mobley.
Tom was a member of the Laborers International Union of North America, Local Union # 741 for 65 years.
Tom is survived by his wife, Sharon (Rush) Mobley; children, Jeff Pryor of Bloomington, IN, Pamela (Brad) Hight of Evansville, IN and Yvette Sheffer of Solsberry, In; sister, Donna (Leif) Hansen of Loveland, CO; grandchildren, Lisa (Luke) Nelson, Nikki (Richard) Guerrini, Jonathan Hight, Brandon (Amy) Barrett, Jared (Tara) Sheffer, Amanda, Skyler, and Korren Sheffer, and Jeremy Stephens; 2 special boys, Jacob and Joshua Thompson; 14 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He loved all the children. Tom was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers.
The family will receive friends and family from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 30, 2018 at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard 3000 E. Third Street, Bloomington, Indiana. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 30, 2018 at The Funeral Chapel with Pastor Leif Hansen officiating. Burial will follow at Clear Creek Cemetery.
