Obituary for Patsy Jayne Bartlett

Patsy Jayne Bartlett, 91, passed away June 29th, 2018. She was born November 6th, 1926 in Bloomington, Indiana. She was a loving daughter to her mother, Rose Alma Hansen, and a loving wife to her husband, Richard.
Patsy was a beautiful lady inside and out. She had a soft, kind, spirit and a beautiful smile for everyone. Patsy was a loving mother to her three daughters. She had eleven grandchildren (10 grandsons and one granddaughter).
She was a lifetime member of First United Methodist Church of Bloomington, and was baptized and married there. Patsy helped in the nursery, provided Meals on Wheels and was involved in the Women’s Circle.
Patsy was active in the Bloomington Garden Club, Tri Kappa Philanthropical Club and the “Pat” Club. She was the bookkeeper for Bartlett’s Painting and Decorating Company.
Patsy is survived by her husband, Richard J. Bartlett, 94, currently living in Westfield, IN. Their marriage of almost 73 years shows their love and devotion to each other. She is also survived by her daughters, Nancy (David) Behrmann of Indianapolis, IN; and Janet (Steve) Caudill of Merritt Island, FL; her grandsons, Matthew (Danielle) Behrmann of Orlando, FL, Zachary (Katie) Behrmann of Indianapolis, IN, Ryan (Meredith) Caudill of Satellite Beach, FL, Ross Caudill (Joanna Maltese) of Springfield, NJ, Reid (Kirsten) Caudill, previously of Seattle, WA, Richard Caudill, Chicago, IL, Neil (Lisa) Claussen of Panama City, FL, Eric (Meghann) Claussen, of Panama City, FL, Craig (Tonya) Claussen of Panama City, FL, and Grant (Rainer) Claussen of Dallas, TX. Patsy is also survived by her granddaughter, Lara Behrmann of San Francisco, CA, son-in-law Peter Claussen (husband of the late Suzanne Claussen) of Panama City, FL, and great-grandchildren Aubrie and Morgan Behrmann, Ryleigh and Elliot Caudill, Ethan Caudill, Rory and Spencer Claussen, and Sadie and Ella Claussen.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Suzanne Claussen.
Services for Patsy will be held 2pm Tuesday, July 3rd, 2018 at Valhalla Memory Gardens in Bloomington.
