Obituary for Earl Ivan Jamison

Earl Ivan Jamison, 79 of Bloomington, passed away on Friday, July 13, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his family. Ivan was born September 21, 1938 in Muscatine, Iowa and was the son of the late Ralph and Lina Bernice (Patton) Jamison.
Ivan was an Army Veteran and retired from Crane as an Engineering Technician. He was a member of Woodhaven Christian Church where he served as an Elder.
Ivan is survived by his wife of 31 years, Norma (Smith) Jamison of Bloomington, daughter, Teresa (Randy) Fluke of Bloomington, two sons, Deron Jamison of Bloomington and Philip (Micco) Cain of Japan. Also surviving are his grandson, Randall Jamison, his very special granddaughter, Sydney (Chip) Newsome who was the apple of his eye, his great granddaughter Morgan Newsome who brought him such joy and brightened his days, sister Judy (Ken) Hawkins of Oolitic, and brother Lynne Jamison of Bedford.
Preceding Ivan in death were his parents and sister, Joan Cramer.
Visitation for Ivan will be on Monday, July 16, 2018 from 6-8 pm at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard 3000 E. Third St. Bloomington and Tuesday, July 17, 2018 from 9:00 am until service time.
Services will be 10:00 am Tuesday at The Funeral Chapel with Rev. Steve Baker officiating. Burial will follow at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
