Janice Elaine Trueblood
Janice Elaine Trueblood, 76, of Bloomington, passed away peacefully on Tuesday August 21, 2018 at Golden Living Center surrounded by her family.
Elaine was born June 7, 1942 in Bloomington and was the daughter of the late Paul E. Hazel Sr. and Maxine (Burks) Hazel. She was a 1960 graduate of Bloomington High School. Elaine was a Beautician and began her 50 year career at the Beauty Lounge here in Bloomington. In 1974 she started Elaine’s Studio of Hair Design, and later was the owner/operator of Bloomington Hair Company. Elaine was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She enjoyed taking short trips with her friends, spending time with her family and spoiling her children and grandchildren.
Elaine is survived by her three children, J.D. (Lea) Trueblood of Fishers, Tonya Trueblood of Bloomington and Keith (Emilie) Trueblood of Bloomington, 6 grandchildren; Cole Trueblood, Xavier Trueblood, Hannah Trueblood, Stella Trueblood, Hailey Trueblood ,and Zeke Trueblood, brother, Paul E. (Claudia) Hazel Jr, along with aunts, an uncle and several nieces and nephews.
Elaine was preceded in death by her loving husband, David F. Trueblood (July 2017) and her parents.
Visitation for Elaine will be Sunday August 26, 2018 from 4-7 pm at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard, 3000 E. Third St. Bloomington and Monday from 10:00 am until service time.
Services will be on Monday at 11:00 am at The Funeral Chapel with burial to follow at Valhalla Memory Gardens. Pastor David Mullens will be officiating.
