Condolence: I am very sad to hear of Al's passing. He was a friend and mentor, whose friendship I sincerely valued. Al was truly brilliant in all aspects of electronics. He did everything, and was capable of anything. He was always fun to talk with, and was always willing to help others, I learned a great deal from him over the 25+ years I knew him. His value to our community with his involvement with civic organizations is in-measurable. We also owe him a debt of gratitude for his service to our country. I will miss calling him, and hearing the sometimes off the wall greeting I got from him, or going to visit him and seeing the latest project, or task he had taken on, and there were a lot of them.
