Condolences

Condolence From: Carl Levi
Condolence: Nedra was one of my students at the Monroe County Alternative High School way back when. She was always one of the positive ones, and we got along well. When I last saw her many years ago at the car dealership where she was working she told me that she “wouldn’t have made it” if it wasn’t for me. While her compliment warmed my heart, I can’t help but believe that Nedra would have made it no matter what. She was strong, definitely had a mind of her own and didn’t put up with any nonsense. She was no doubt a genuinely loving and excellent parent and foster parent, and no matter how much I may have helped her, she surely helped her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and foster children far more. My condolences to her husband, her entire family and all 77 of her foster children.

Condolence: Nedra was the smile to your day when you seen her at Circle K. This woman meant so much to me. If you were having a bad day, she could still make you smile or laugh. She was always willing to hear your problems and just let you talk, she always had a kind word no matter what. Nedra will be missed by so many and has touched so many people’s hearts that her memory will forever live on! Love you Nedra. RIH!!!

Condolence: So sorry for your loss and sad to hear. I remember Nedra (and Phil) from Sportsplex when they graciously saw that the children they were foster parents to got to play in sports. They cared for so many children that needed their love and one of those children was very dear to our family. To the family...May you feel comfort from God's arms around you at this sad time and may you feel comfort in knowing how many lives were touched by Nedra. God Bless!
