Janice Ann Poolitsan, 86, of Bloomington, passed away on Monday October 15, 2018 at her residence. Janice was born July 26, 1932 in Bloomington and was the daughter of the late Wade and Velma (Thomas) Wampler.

Janice was a 1949 graduate of Bloomington High School and was a member of Sherwood Oaks Christian Church.
Survivors include her daughter Francie Bowers and son Bill (Jill) Bowers, sister Mary Jane Worstall, 2 grandchildren, Shelly Bowers and Taylor (Shauna) Bowers and 2 great grandchildren, Kennedi Bowers and Tynleigh Bowers.
Janice was preceded in death by her first husband, William Bowers in 1960, second husband George C. Poolitsan M.D. in 2006, grandson, Brian Bowers, sister, Karen Corley and brother Kenneth Wampler.
Services for Janice will be on Thursday October 18 , 2018 at 1:00 pm at the Sherwood Oaks Christian Church Chapel. Tom Ellsworth will officate the service and entombment will follow at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until service time on Thursday at Sherwood Oaks.
