Geneva I. Yarbrough, 94, of Bloomington passed away Sunday, April 13, 2014 at Garden Villa in Bloomington. Born, September 2, 1919 in Daviess County, she was the daughter of Joseph and Mary Delpha (Beasley) Lamb. Survivors include one daughter, Barbara Slessinger (Louis) of Bloomington, one son, David R. Yarbrough (Patricia) of Allegan, Michigan, four grandchildren, David L. Slessinger, Mark E. Slessinger, Joanna L. Yarbrough and Jennifer A. Yarbrough, three great-grandchildren, Sabrina E. Slessinger, Nola Ann Slessinger and Holdyn Slessinger, one sister, Margie S. Chapman of Orlando, Florida. Geneva was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Carl Yarbrough, two brothers, Floyd Lamb and Joseph Lamb Jr. Visitation will be 12:00-2:00pm Thursday, April 17, 2014 at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard, 3000 E. Third St. Bloomington, Indiana 47401. A graveside service will be 3:30pm Thursday at Oak Grove Cemetery in Washington, Indiana, Roger Clark will officiate.
