Stephen Douglas Evans
Stephen Douglas Evans, age 45, of Bloomington, Indiana passed away at his residence on September 30, 2016. He was born in Bloomington on October 22, 1970 and was the son of Carolyn Maxine (Fielder) and David Evans, and Kenneth “Kenny” Patton. Stephen enjoyed Elvis, watching Nascar, the Broncos, and the Los Angeles Dodgers. Most of all, Stephen enjoyed spending time with his family that he loved dearly, especially his son Drake, who meant the world to him.
Stephen is survived by his son, Drake Evans, sisters, Sonja (Evans) Walker, Dora Evans, Pamela (Patton) Richards (Woody), Angela (Patton) Bowman (Jon), nephews and nieces, James Douglas, Trista, Alex, and Christopher, and numerous friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Timothy.
Visitation will be from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm, Tuesday, October 4, 2016 and from 10:00 am until the time of service on Wednesday at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard, 3000 E. Third Street, Bloomington, Indiana 47401.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 am, Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard. Burial will follow at Duncan Cemetery in Brown County.
