Obituary for
Ralph Daniel Jaramio
Ralph Daniel Jaramio passed away Friday afternoon, December 9, at his home. He was born October 15, 1936, in Denver, Colorado, to Nettie and Cruz Jaramio.
Dan graduated from Campion Academy, Loveland, Colorado, and attended Emmanuel Missionary College (now Andrews University), Berrien Springs, Michigan, and Union College, Lincoln, Nebraska.
From 1960 to 1962 he served in the U. S. Army, stationed at Walter Reed Medical Center, Washington, D. C. He retired from the Veterans Administration Hospital system in 1996 after 30 years of service and from Wal-Mart in 2008.
Dan enjoyed traveling, attending car auctions, celebrating St. Patrick's Day, and making friends with everyone he met. He was known for his generous and friendly spirit.
He is survived by Ann Jaramio, his wife of 56 years; daughters and sons-in-law, Stephanie and Daniel Young of Kiowa, Colorado, and Patricia and Garry Treft of Westmont, Illinois; grandchildren, Emily (Antony) Weathersby, Sarah (Scott Chenoweth), Jonathan (Elise), Rachel, David, Abigail, Thomas, Hannah, Jacob, and Rivkah Young, and Spencer Treft; great-grandchildren, Ella and Eli Chenoweth. He was preceded in death by his brother, Dick Jaramio.
Services will be held in Denver, Colorado, with burial at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
