Shirley L. Wilson (Harp)
Shirley L. (Harp) Wilson, 76, of Bloomington passed away Saturday, December 17, 2016 at her residence surrounded by her family.
Born, June 29, 1940 in Martin County, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Lucille (Crane) Harp.
Shirley was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who was a talented seamstress and quilter. She was a strong, independent and courageous woman who never complained and she will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.
She will be remembered by all as an endless spirit with a kind heart. Shirley dare not brazen this world with her burden but rather lived with thankfulness for even the smallest of things.
Survivors include her sons, Mike Wilson (Cherie) and Greg Wilson all of Bloomington, grandchildren, Allison Wilson, Anna Wilson, Erika Wilson Katie Fulton (Sam), Cassie Oliver (Matt) and Carly Fulton, great grandchildren, Elia Spear and Lucy Jo Oliver, sisters, Marilyn Sue Kramer of Indianapolis, Jean Knapp, and Georgia Davis (Larry) all of Bloomington and several nieces and nephews.
Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Keith G. Wilson (1995), and brother, James L. Harp.
Visitation will be 4-8pm Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard, 3000 E. Third St. in Bloomington.
Funeral services will be 10:30am Wednesday at The Funeral Chapel with Jimmy Cain officiating. Burial will follow at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
