The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Evelyn James can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Dear family of Evelyn,
I can't begin to tell you how much I will miss Evelyn. The bus trips, the conversations, the kindness she showed me when I was taken ill on a bus trip and most of all our mutual birthday lunch at D'Angelos. She was a true and good friend.

Condolence From: Ray and Marion Golarz
Condolence: Whether we were having coffee at her kitchen table, sharing a Panera's lunch, or bumping into each other while she was walking her buddy Jesse, Evelyn James was the best kind of company. Never a gossip, never unkind, she was a delight to be with. Funny, intelligent, curious, talented in so many ways--not to mention being a wicked poker player--upbeat to the end, Ev made everyone's life better if you were fortunate enough to call her friend. And all you had to do to be a friend was to meet her one time. She was as dear to us as any childhood playmate, teenage buddy, or next-door mom we were blessed to share our lives with. We will never pass by her house, look down the street, or gather neighbors and friends in our home without thinking of her. We hold her and her sweet family in our thoughts, hearts, and prayers.

Condolence: How we will miss Evelyn. Always the life of Tamarron parties with her wickedly delightful sense of humor. Our dog, Blue, will definitely miss seeing Evelyn and her little dog Jesse (aka Killer). We are happy that she and Bill are back together and will always fondly remember her.
