Obituary for
Jess M. "Bud" Inman
Jess M. "Bud" Inman Jr., 71, of Bloomington, passed away on Thursday April 5, 2018 at IU Health Bloomington Hospital. Jess was born December 18, 1946 in Bloomington and was the son of the late Jess Sr. and Wilma (Holmes) Inman. He was a 1966 graduate of Bloomington High School where he played football and wrestled.
Jess served with the Bloomington Police Department retiring after 25 years of service. He also worked in construction, woodworking and was a farmer.
Survivors include 2 daughters; Anna Lee (Kevin) Eads of Bloomington, and Amy Marie Inman of Powhatan, VA, one son, Jess "Buddy" Inman III of Louisville, KY, sister Myrna (Wayne) Lutes of Bloomington, 3 grandchildren; Derek Eads, Dustin (Erin) Eads, and Darren Eads. He is also survived by a niece, Jodee Rae Inman, and 2 nephews, Allen Lutes and Jim Inman Jr.
Jess was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, James "Jim" Inman.
Visitation for Jess will be 4-8 pm Monday April 9, 2018 at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard 3000 E. Third St. Bloomington.
Services will be 10:30 am Tuesday April 10, 2018 at The Funeral Chapel with Pastor Grant Quimby officiating. Burial will follow at CloverHill Cemetery.
