Condolence: First, I am sorry I could not pay my respects personally since I was out of town. I am a retired Bloomington Police officer who worked with Jess. Jess was one of the first officers I rode with as a rookie officer (I hired on in 1976). Jess passed along some much needed advice to me during those rides.
