Leah Louise (Hiestand) Oakley, age 42, of Bloomington, Indiana passed away at Golden Living Center on May 21, 2018. She was born in Bedford, Indiana on February 22, 1976 to Richard Hiestand and Thelma (Ramsey) Myers. Leah enjoyed spending time and talking with friends and family. She was a CNA for several nursing homes.
Leah is survived by her sisters, Donna Bedwell (William), Crystal Kaulen (fiance Jeffrey Jenkins), and Trudie Deaton, brothers, Dennis Fisher and Ricky Sheeks, nieces and nephews, Steve Tamewitz, Tammie Tamewitz-Hoover, Misti Neely, Ashley Stewart, Eric Stelle, Jr., and Robert and Thomas Deaton, great nieces and great nephews, aunts and uncles, Connie Conklin, Betty Harding, and Terry and David Hiestand, boyfriend, Curtis "Country" Davis, and several friends.
Leah was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Donnie Sheeks.
A celebration of Leah's life will be held at a later date.
