Obituary for Russell D. "Knockie" Ramage

Russell Duane "Knockie" Ramage, 80, of Bloomington, passed away on Sunday August 19, 2018 surrounded by his family.
Knockie was born February 24, 1938 in Bloomington and was the son of the late Russell E. and Myrtle Irene (Lake) Ramage. He was a graduate of Bloomington High School and served in the United States Army.
Knockie retired after several years from Harry Stephens Oldsmobile and later worked for Easy Go Golf Carts and Twin Lakes Sports Park. He was a former member of the Eagles, AmVets and CB Club and loved his dune buggy and loved to tinker and work on anything.
Survivors include his two daughters, Tina (Rob) Jacobs, and Tonya (Howard) Brummett, two sisters, Pamela Combs and Janet Sue Ramage, two brothers, Paul Eugene (Becky) Ramage, and Butch (Connie) Ramage, and good friend Chris Lamb.
Knockie was preceded in death by his beloved wife Sandra Ramage (1987), parents, and stepfather, Bob Brown.
Graveside services will be 1:30 pm Wednesday August 22, 2018 at Knightridge Cemetery. Rev. Jim Roach will officiate the service.
