Condolence: She was an amazing teacher. If I can have a fraction of the effect on my students that she had on hers I'll be proud. I could never dream of being as wonderful a teacher as her. I only had her one semester, in 1988/1989. Upon first meeting her, I could tell she was a special lady. I hope she knew what a tremendous effect she had on all of us! I thought of her often throughout the years.

Condolence: Dr. Grady, I can't even begin to express the love and respect I have always had for you. You influenced my life more than you could have know. You were the most supportive and encouraging teacher I have ever had. You will never be forgotten and you will influence me for the rest of my life. May you rest in peace. Condolence: My condolences to the family of Dr. Grady. There have been few, if any other, teachers that have had such an amazing and enlightening impact on as many lives, as did Dr. Grady. Aside from truely caring about each and every student she ever had, she also taught a great many of us to have as much confidence in our selves, as she had in each one of us. She has left a great and lasting mark on this world that will be seen in the confident expressions of achievement and compassion driving academic exellance.

Condolence: This wonderful woman changed my life. She was the best teacher I ever had. I grew up on the hill. For those who don't know what that is, it is low income housing apartments. It was rough and a hard life to have at times. Dr. Grady was so encouraging to all of us kids. She gave us the personal attention we needed to stay the course and finish our high school education. She will forever be in my heart!

Condolence: I loved this woman more then she could ever know and will never forget all that she taught me about myself and life at such an impressionable age...

Condolence: Mrs Grady was my Indiana Fulklore teacher in 10th grade. She was the sweetest person and the most understanding teach at North HS that I had. I saw her downtown years later and she still rememberd me. She will be missed.

Condolence: Dr. Grady may have left this earthly world, but her impact on it will be measured in generations! What a incredible woman. She was a gifted soul who could reach the most stubborn and troubled of students. She is certainly one of the reasons I am an educator today. Thank you Dr. Grady for your years of service and your beautiful aura. Love and prayers to all who are greiving this profound loss, especially Michael, she talked about you all the time.

Condolence: Dr. Grady was a gifted educator. She was one of only a few teachers that left an impression on me, lasting decades. Thank you, Dr. Grady for your kindness and academic instruction.

Condolence: Dr. Grady was by far the best teacher I ever had. She was at BHSN for one reason, to teach and help her students. It didn't matter if it was a homework problem or something else going on in your life, she was there to help you along. She will be missed.

Condolence: I was 17, in high school, and I met Barbara Grady who was doing her student teaching at the time. She treated me like an adult, like I mattered. We became friends after high school and spent many hours, days and years together. She loved me unconditionally, and I loved her the same way. Never have I met a person like her, who touches the hearts of people in such a way that they/we are forever changed. She loved Michael with every bit of herself and I know he loves her the same way. My heart absolutely breaks for you, Michael. Thank you, Barbara, for everything you were in this world. Your ripple reaches far and wide my friend.
