Obituary for Scott Stanley Williams

Scott Stanley Williams, aged 68, died peacefully in his sleep of natural causes on October 24, 2018, while in the loving company of partner, Mary Alice Pendleton. He had been having health problems.
At the time of his death Scott was living in Bloomington, Indiana, a town he had grown to love as a student at Indiana University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Anthropology and an Associate Degree in Arts and Sciences.
He was born to Stanley and Marcelon Williams, and the family soon-after moved to Warehouse Pt. Connecticut, to be next door to his beloved grandparents, George and Flora Williams. The family later settled in Indiana where he attended high school and college and made life-long friends. He loved reading, cooking, playing guitar and studying languages which directed his career choices, including Assistant Teacher and a stint cooking for the Notre Dame football team. He found it particularly inspiring to help students prepare for their GED exams.
He is survived by his three sisters who will gather to honor his life in a private family service in Connecticut.
Those wishing to make a donation in Scott's name are encouraged to support their favorite charity.
The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard is in charge of local arrangements.
