Violet L. Masters, 87, of Bloomington passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at Golden Living Center.
Born, April 6, 1931 in Bloomington, she was the daughter of late Gilbert and Dorothy (Sipes) Eads.
Our sweet mom got her wings and flew to Heaven Wednesday. She fought a long hard battle with Alzheimer's Disease.
Violet retired from RCA in Bloomington. She was of the Pentecostal Faith and she loved her Lord Jesus.
Survivors include four children, Patricia "Trish" Padgett, David Masters (Netta Johnson), Alta Parker (Jim Hollars), and Barb Clark (Greg), sister, Betty Thomas, brother, Ancil "Snowball" Eads, five grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Bob" Masters (1976), brothers, Gilbert "Bub" Eads, and Robert "Bobby" Eads, son-in-law, Charles "Charlie" Padgett, granddaughter, Cathy Jo Batchlor, and grandson, Robert Keith "RK" Mosier.
Visitation will be 2-6pm Sunday at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard, 3000 E. Third St. in Bloomington.
Funeral services will be 10:00am Monday at The Funeral Chapel with Pastor Joe Nelson officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery.
