Obituary for Shelia Ann Havill-Mills

Shelia Ann Havill-Mills, 68, of Bedford, passed away Thursday, November 29, 2018 at the IU Health Hospice House surrounded by her loving family.

Shelia was born November 16, 1950 in Madisonville, Kentucky and was the daughter of Conrad Jones and Betty D. (Nelson) Woodruff, and the adopted daughter of Allen Dean Woodruff. She was a graduate of Benjamin Bosse High School in Evansville and was retired from the Medical Field.

Family was most important to Shelia. Whether it be attending her children's sporting events when they were younger, to traveling to Florida to see them as adults, she enjoyed her time with them. She loved animals, especially her dogs, she was a sports enthusiast and enjoyed good food and good wine.

Survivors include her husband, Richard E. Mills of Bedford; two sons, Eric D. (Stacey) Havill of Lakewood Ranch, FL, and David Ryan Havill of Sarasota, FL; daughter, Ashley (Keith) Paynter of Sarasota, FL; her mother Betty D. Woodruff of Evansville; step-son, William Bradley Mills of Bedford; 2 step daughters, Natalie Dyan Shelton of Bedford and Stephanie Lynn (Monte) Meier of Greenwood, IN. Also surviving are two sisters, Deborah Lynn (Rick) Haire and Melissa Kay (Kenny) Ford both of Evansville, IN; and brother, Allen Dean (Sherry) Woodruff II also of Evansville, along with several nieces and nephews.

Shelia was preceded in death by her father, Allen Dean Woodruff, grandson, Lucas David Paynter, and step sister, Belinda Woodruff.

Services for Shelia will be 2:00 pm Monday, December 3, 2018 at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard, 3000 E. Third St. Bloomington. Allen Dean Woodruff III will officiate the service and burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery in Bedford.

Visitation will be on Sunday, December 2, 2018 from 2-6 pm and Monday, December 3, 2018 from 12:00 pm until service time at The Funeral Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to; IU Health Hospice House or White River Humane Society.
