Obituary for Jerry Lee Hanson

Jerry Lee Hanson, 75, of Bloomington passed away Sunday, December 2, 2018 at his residence.
Born, May 21, 1943 in Bloomington, he was the son of the late Claude Hanson and Eloise (Grey) Hanson Butkus.
Jerry was a 1961 graduate of Bloomington High School and he was a United States Navy Veteran serving in the Vietnam War.
He was a delivery driver for Cummins News.
Jerry was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who enjoyed hunting, fishing, genealogy, history, and reading.
Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Diana G. (Hall) Hanson, children, Brian K. Rosenbaum, Bradley M. Rosenbaum (Reita), Steve Hanson (Missy), Karen Hankins (Rich), and Russell Hanson (Danita), 11 grandchildren, and two great-garndchildren, brother, Mike Hanson (Colette), sister-in-law, Lou Ann Hanson, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by brother, David Hanson, and nephew, John Hanson.
A Celebration of Life will be at a later date.
The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard, 3000 E. Third St. in Bloomington is handling arrangements.
