i just got word from knob creek nyle passed away. its been months ago but i hadnt realized. i still cherish the memories of gunshows buying and selling with nyle. for years after the shows we always hit a special place called shuck-n-shack if at dayton hara arena once a month before he had his stroke over a decade ago. like clockwork nyle would always get the dungeness crab and id always get the rock shrimp til we couldnt hold anymore. those were the good old days. i was always worried about him after his stroke and kept watching his positive progress afterwards and made sure to treat him extra fair when making a deal. life happens so fast. with the world seemingly going backwards now is the perfect time to seriously study and get right with god if you havent already. a stroke or car wreck is just around the corner for some of us and we dont often know it til its too late. so many have fallen like this suddenly i cant count anymore. nyle you will be missed!

My husband spent many hours at Trail Dust. He would really like to know when the celebration will be, if it is open to the public he will come to it. Our prayers to his family and friends.

I met Nyle in 1993, and we did many gun shows together, traveled all over the U.S. together, set up at the Shot Show one year in Dallas, Texas, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and had many dinners after work together over the years. Drove back from Los Angeles caravaning dueling vans. Miss the old days, that's for sure. Those were the days. Life is an adventure. Helped him build his shop. Camped in Wisconsin on the way home from a show, and drove all the way across the Upper Peninsula of Michigan together, saw the WWII Air Corp Ace's plane on display in front of his school, Richard Bong up there.
Life is made on experiences, money matters, but not as much as how you lived. Those were the days. Hope our paths cross again sometime.

Nyle, we've been friends for around 40 years and I will miss him. Thought we lost him 10 years ago, but he a few more years left in him and made the most of it, making a living doing what he loved and getting to go on adventures.
