Obituary for Jerry Franklin Bales
Jerry Franklin Bales of Bloomington, Indiana went to be with the Lord on January 22, 2019.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Pat Bales, his eldest brother, Jim Bales, and several nieces and nephews.
Jerry served as a State Legislator from 1976-1998. Jerry loved to read and was an avid golfer with his wife, Pat, whom he taught to play. They enjoyed their time together on the green. Jerry loved to yell at Pat on the green, telling her, "don't kill the ball" and telling her "the golf ball has no head."
A special thanks to Sam Carmichael, who was Jerry's best friend and has assisted Pat through this difficult transition.
There will be no funeral services, however in lieu of flowers, you can make contributions to Sherwood Oaks Christian Church in Bloomington.
