Mackenzie Peabody Hutton of Indianapolis, Indiana left this world on February 12, 2019. She was born July 16, 1993 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She was a 2011 graduate of Bloomington High School South. Mackenzie attended Indiana University Southeast. She was employed at Ruth’s Chris in Indianapolis.
Mackenzie loved life, loved family, and cherished her friends for which she had many. She never met an animal she didn’t like especially her labs growing up; Marbella and Hallie and the next two Pearl and Millie. She loved all things Indy; the Pacers, the Colts & Indy 500 and attended many of these events. She learned to surf in Southern California and became quite accomplished at it always surprising the folks in Folly Beach SC where she spent time with family as her second home. Mackenzie became an adopted Hoosier even though she was born in Minnesota she would root for the Hoosiers over the Gophers and it was quite comical when she would go back to Minnesota and have fights with her cousins and family about Indiana over Minnesota. Mackenzie brought joy wherever she was and she has left us too soon. Our lives are forever changed.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Mary and Robert Peabody and William and Barbara Hutton
She is survived by her parents, Brent & Terry Hutton. She is also survived by her boyfriend, TJ Ross and her best friend in her life since she was a child Allison Woollacott. She leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins and a very close knit group of friends in Bloomington.
