Obituary for Ronald V. Abram
Ronald V. “Ron” Abram, 76, of Hendricksville passed away peacefully Sunday, April 21, 2019 at IU Health Bloomington Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Born, March 21, 1943 in Bloomington, he was the son of the late Verne and Juanita (Buskirk) Abram.
Ron was an Electronic Technician at Westinghouse/ABB for over 30 years.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who enjoyed being outdoors especially mushroom hunting. He was also a member and Deacon at the Liberty Church of Christ in Hendrickville.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Brenda (Prow) Abram, two children, Sherry Calloway (Tom) of Newark, and Kelly Abram (Tanya) of Hendrickville, grandchildren, Kayleesha, Ian, and Roxie Calloway, and Joseph Abram (Kacie), great-granddaughter, Helena Abram.
Ron was preceded in death by his sister, Connie Abram.
Visitation will be 4-8pm Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard, 3000 E. Third St. in Bloomington.
Funeral services will be 11:00am Thursday at Liberty Church of Christ in Hendricksville with Pastor Keevin Gray officiating. Burial will follow at Liberty Cemetery in Hendricksville.
