Judith Ann (Robb) Bastin, 77, of Bloomington, peacefully slipped into the arms of Jesus and was reunited with her infant daughter Lisa Ann in her sleep on Saturday May 18, 2019 at the Greenwood Healthcare Center after a long illness.
Judy was born September 28, 1941 in Bloomington and was the daughter of the late Fred and Berneice (Pemberton) Robb. She worked for many years for the MCCSC as a Custodian. She spent most of her time at Arlington Elementary School where she enjoyed all the children and families she met through the years. She was a member of the Women of the Moose Lodge 1081 in Bloomington.
Judy was married for 55 plus years to Philip Bastin and he survives along with her children, Felicia Kay (Tony) Nunn of Bloomington and Mark A. Bastin of Zionsville. Her greatest joy in her life was being a Mimmy to her grandchildren, Christopher Nunn, Samantha (Paul) Arthur, Brittany (Sam) Arthur, Ashton (Tim) Thorpe, Stevie Bastin and Lexi Bastin and great grandchildren, Austin Nunn, Joshua Arthur, Peyton Derringer, Taylor Arthur. Jacob Bower, Maci Arthur, Bentley Arthur, Ashlyn Adams, Dylan Arthur, and Presley Thorpe. Also surviving are two brothers; William Rex "Butch" Robb and Fred "Rick" Robb of Indiana.
Judy was preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa Ann; parents, and brothers, Tim Robb and John Robb.
Visitation for Judy will be from 6-8 pm on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard,3000 E. Third St. Bloomington.
Graveside services will be 1:00 pm Friday, May 24, 2019 at Harmony Cemetery in Bloomington.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to The Funeral Chapel to assist the family.
