Obituary for Ronald C. Hagan

Ronald Cecil Hagan, age 75 passed away Friday, June 7, 2019 at Indiana University Hospital in Indianapolis.
He was born on August 27, 1943 in Bloomington Indiana to his parents, Henry Cecil Hagan and Darvell (Sipes) Hagan.
He served in the US Army and was a member of the American Legion Burton Woolery Post 18.
Ron was a retired former business owner of Kempf Signs in Bloomington and previously worked in commercial printing as a Professional Lithographer in Indianapolis. Ron and his first wife Donna were also former business owners of Hardin Ridge Supply Store at Lake Monroe.
Ron enjoyed fishing, golfing, traveling to Pigeon Forge and Branson, country music shows, cowboy movies and the Indianapolis Colts.
He is survived by his wife Elaine (Atkinson) Hagan of Avon, Daughters - Kelley (Joe) Cook of Indianapolis and April (Tim) Keith of Avon, Grandchildren - Ashton (Tim) Thorpe of Plainfield, Caitlin (Danny) Dozier of Ellettesville and Toby Cook of Oceanside CA, Great Grandchildren - Peyton, Presley and Liam and Sister Joan (Hagan) Mobley of Bloomington.
He is preceded in death by his parents and first wife Donna (Fry) Hagan,
sister Jewel (Hagan) Chastain and brother-in-laws Fred Chastain and Vernal Mobley.
Visitation for Ron will be on Tuesday June 11, 2019 from 4-8 pm at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard 3000 E. Third St. Bloomington and Wednesday from 10:00 am until service time at the funeral home.
Services will be 11:00 am Wednesday at The Funeral Chapel with Pastor Doug Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Valhalla Memory Gardens where the Monroe County Veteran's Honor Guard will have Military Rites.
All are welcome to attend and celebrate Ron's life.
Contributions may be given to the National Kidney Foundation.
