Toni Taylor, 83, of Bloomington passed away Thursday, June 20, 2019 at Hearthstone Health Campus surrounded by her family.
Born, November 4, 1935 in Bloomington, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Mildred (Pope) Taylor.
Toni was a graduate of Bloomington High School where she excelled in softball and basketball. She later played softball for the Women of the Moose.
She was a very generous person who was passionate about being a member of the Girl Scouts and being a Girl Scout Leader.
Toni taught Health and Physical Education in the Indianapolis School Systems for 30 years.
She was a veteran of the United States Navy and was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Bloomington, IN.
Survivors include her siblings, Rev. Millard "Gene" Taylor (Lois), Dr. M-Frances Taylor, John F. Taylor (Cindi), and Anna-Marie Taylor Lash (Roger), and several nieces and nephews.
Toni was preceded in death by her siblings, Robert, James, George, Everett "Jack", Morris, Beverly, Tom, and Marion Taylor.
There will be no funeral services at this time. A Celebration of Life will be at a later date.
